Project Benefits

          The proposed project serves a very dense corridor defined by the federal government as a "Corridor of National Significance." By 2020, about one million long distance trips will be made in the corridor. The system will serve 72,000 to 84,000 riders per day by 2020. Travel time savings from one end of the line to other are estimated to be 80 minutes.
